Happy New Year! Now let’s stop dallying.
Writing
V&V2 is in test reads. This means I’ve cut the monstrosity into 10-12 sections of roughly 3 chapters each and am handing them off one by one to a small test group. As feedback trickles in I’ll vet it and apply as needed.
Bear in mind this doesn’t mean the book is FINISHED finished. There are 7 or 8 scenes that either need to be rewritten or completely overhauled. There are characters who need names and identities (I’m looking at you, Troublemancer and Mutineer). There are details needing sorting.
I still hope and aim for a 2026 release. Just don’t ask me how I’ll fund editing. Actually, go buy V&V. That’s how I’ll fund edits.

Something Once Sacred has a January show coming up so if you’re in the Hartwell GA area, go to Southern Hart Brewing Company on the 31st to see us. I can’t guarantee I’ll bring the new bass. I want to get properly acquainted with her before bringing her out in public like that.
